4:1 耶稣被圣灵充满,从约旦河回来,圣灵将他引到旷野,四十天受魔鬼的试探。

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

4:2 那些日子没有吃什吗。日子满了,他就饿了。

Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

4:3 魔鬼对他说,你若是神的儿子,可以吩咐这块石头变成食物。

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4:4 耶稣回答说,经上记着说,人活着不是单靠食物,乃是靠神口里所出的一切话

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

4:5 魔鬼又领他上了高山,霎时间把天下的万国都指给他看。

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

4:6 对他说,这一切权柄荣华,我都要给你。因为这原是交付我的,我愿意给谁就给谁。

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

4:7 你若在我面前下拜,这都要归你。

If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

4:8 耶稣说,经上记着说,当拜主你的神,单要事奉他。

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

4:9 魔鬼又领他到耶路撒冷去,叫他站在殿顶上,(顶原文作翅)对他说,你若是神的儿子,可以从这里跳下去。

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

4:10 因为经上记着说,主要为你吩咐他的使者保护你。

For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

4:11 他们要用手托着你,免得你的脚碰在石头上。

And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

4:12 耶稣对他说,经上说,不可试探主你的神。

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

4:13 魔鬼用完了各样的试探,就暂时离开耶稣。

And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

4:14 耶稣满有圣灵的能力回到加利利,他的名声就传遍了四方。

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

4:15 他在各会堂里教训人,众人都称赞他。

And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

4:16 耶稣来到拿撒勒,就是他长大的地方。在安息日,照他平常的规矩,进了会堂,站起来要念圣经。

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

4:17 有人把先知以赛亚的书交给他,他就打开,找到一处写着说,

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

4:18 主的灵在我身上,因为他用膏膏我,叫我传福音给贫穷的人。差遣我报告被掳的得释放,瞎眼的得看见,叫那受压制的得自由,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

4:19 报告神悦纳人的禧年。

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

4:20 于是把书卷起来,交还执事,就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

4:21 耶稣对他们说,今天这经应验在你们耳中了。

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

4:22 众人都称赞他,并希奇他口中所出的恩言。又说,这不是约瑟的儿子吗。

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

4:23 耶稣对他们说,你们必引这俗语向我说,医生,你医治自己吧。我们听见你在迦百农所行的事,也当行在你自己家乡里。

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

4:24 又说,我实在告诉你们,没有先知在自己家乡被人悦纳的。

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

4:25 我对你们说实话,当以利亚的时候,天闭塞了三年零六个月,偏地有大饥荒,那时,以色列中有许多寡妇。

But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

4:26 以利亚并没有奉差往他们一个人那里去,只奉差往西顿的撒勒法,一个寡妇那里去。

But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

4:27 先知以利沙的时候,以色列中有许多长大麻疯的。但内中除了叙利亚国的乃缦,没有一个得洁净的。

And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

4:28 会堂里的人听见这话,都怒气满胸。

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

4:29 就起来撵他出城,他们的城造在山上,他们带他到山崖,要把他推下去。

And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

4:30 他却从他们中间直行,过去了。

But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

4:31 耶稣下到迦百农,就是加利利的一座城,在安息日教训众人。

And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

4:32 他们很希奇他的教训,因为他的话里有权柄。

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

4:33 在会堂里有一个人,被污鬼的精气附着,大声喊叫说,

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

4:34 唉,拿撒勒的耶稣,我们与你有什吗相干,你来灭我们吗,我知道你是谁,乃是神的圣者。

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

4:35 耶稣责备他说,不要作声,从这人身上出来吧。鬼把那人摔倒在众人中间,就出来了,却也没有害他。

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

4:36 众人都惊讶,彼此对问说,这是什吗道理呢。因为他用权柄能力吩咐污鬼,污鬼就出来。

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

4:37 于是耶稣的名声传遍了周围地方。

And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

4:38 耶稣出了会堂,进了西门的家。西门的岳母害热病甚重。有人为他求耶稣。

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

4:39 耶稣站在他旁边,斥责那热病,热就退了。他立刻起来服事他们。

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

4:40 日落的时候,凡有病人的,不论害什吗病,都带到耶稣那里。耶稣按手在他们各人身上,医好他们。

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

4:41 又有鬼从好些人身上出来,喊着说,你是神的儿子。耶稣斥责他们,不许他们说话,因为他们知道他是基督。

And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

4:42 天亮的时候,耶稣出来,走到旷野地方。众人去找他,到了他那里,要留住他,不要他离开他们。

And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

4:43 但耶稣对他们说,我也必须在别城传神国的福音。因我奉差原是为此。

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

4:44 于是耶稣在加利利的各会堂传道。

And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.


4:1 有时我们会觉得,蒙圣灵引导就像躺在“可安歇的水边”(参诗23:2)。但并不一定是如此。圣灵把耶稣引到旷野去,经历既漫长又艰难的试探,他有时也会把我们引到困境之中。遇到试探时,首先要弄清楚自己是不是因为犯罪或作了愚昧的抉择而招致试探,如果你发现并非如此,那么你便应该求神赐你力量经过试验。最后,要谨慎,忠心地跟随圣灵的带领。

4:1 试探经常在我们属灵生命或工作到达高峰后出现,(有关以利亚在得胜后随即变得沮丧,请参王上18-19章。)记著,撒但很会选择攻击的时间,不论在甚么情况之下──或得胜,或沮丧,都要警醒。(有关撒但在我们脆弱时对我们的攻击,请参太4:1-11的注释。)

4:1-2 撒但在伊甸园里引诱亚当夏娃,在旷野里引诱耶稣。撒但是真实存在的,是那背叛而堕落的天使,不是一个象徵或一个思想。它不断与神和跟随顺服神的人作对。耶稣是撒但试探的首要对象,它引诱亚当夏娃成功了,也希望能成功地引诱耶稣。

4:1-13 认识并遵行神的话是抵挡试探的有效武器,也是基督徒“军装”中惟一的攻击性武器(参弗6:17)。耶稣以圣经来对抗撒但的攻击,你也可以这样做。然而,撒但也熟悉圣经,并且惯于曲解圣经以配合它的目的,所以你必须对神的应许有信心,以至你能有效地运用圣经。顺从圣经的教导远较单单引用经文更重要,因此,要每日读圣经,并且在生活中应用,你这把“宝剑”才能常常保持锋利。

4:2 为甚么耶稣必须受试探?(1)试探是人生经历的一部分,耶稣为了成为完全的人,完全了解我们,他必须面对试探(参来4:15);(2)亚当受造时是完美的,然而他面对试探时却屈服了,将罪带给整个人类,所以,耶稣必须抵销亚当所做的,拒绝撒但的试探。他胜过撒但,使所有亚当的后裔都可以得救(参罗5:12-19)。

4:3 撒但经常使我们怀疑基督的真正身分,它知道我们一旦开始怀疑耶稣是不是神的儿子,就很容易叫我们去做它想叫我们做的事。有时,怀疑能帮助我们整理信念,加强我们的信心;不过,也可以置我们于险境中。当你正在疑惑之中,要知道你是特别容易受试探的。正当你在寻求答案时,要默想神永不动摇的真理,好保护自己。

4:3 有时,我们被引诱去做的事情,本身不一定是错的,例如把石头变作食物不一定是坏事。事情的本身并不是罪,问题是在于行动背后的动机。撒但想叫耶稣走捷径,放弃长远的目标,去解决目前的困难,牺牲个人的纪律,寻求安逸舒适。撒但经常这样游说我们:为错误的目的或在不适当的时间行动,甚至做好事;但就算事情本身没有错,也并不表示你应在这个时间去做。很多人做一些满足自己合理欲望的事 ,但是在神的旨意之外,或不按神所定的时间,他就算是犯罪。所以做事先要问:“是圣灵带领我做这件事,还是撒但在诱使我离开神?”

在弱处被试探,起码人自知;在强处被试探,恐怕来到也不知 ……
4:3-13 我们通常都不是在自己的弱点上被引诱,而是在自己的强项上被引诱的,撒但也是在耶稣的强处上引诱他。耶稣有能力支配石头、世界万国,甚至天使,撒但希望他毫不考虑自己的使命就运用这能力。当我们接受撒但的意见,错误地运用自己的长处,便会变得骄傲自恃;当我们信靠自己的能力时,就会感到自己不需要神。为了避开这个陷阱,我们必须知道我们所得到的力量都是神的恩赐,我们必须运用这些力量来事奉神。

4:6-7 撒但妄自尊大,希望引诱耶稣偏离自己的使命转而敬拜它,以便成功地对抗神。它在说:“这个世界是我的,并不是神的。你想要在这儿做有价值的事,最好承认这个事实。”耶稣没有与撒但争论究竟谁是这个世界的主人,然而,他拒绝了撒但的要求。耶稣知道,要拯救世界,就要在十字架上舍命,而不是与魔鬼妥协。

4:9-11 这里,撒但曲解了经文的意思,诗篇91篇的原意是显明神对属他的人的保护,而不是煽动人利用神的能力做一些惊人的或愚蠢不堪的事。

4:13 耶稣击退撒但取得了决定性的胜利,但这并非最后胜利,撒但不会就此罢休。耶稣在他的传道过程中,会遇见撒但不同形式的挑战。我们经常会以为一次试探过去,以后就平安无事了;但事实上,我们要不断警醒,提防魔鬼一次又一次的攻击。现在你在哪方面最容易受到试探呢?你怎样预备抵挡这方面的试探呢?

4:16 会堂在犹太人的宗教生活中是很重要的。在犹太人被掳时,他们不再有圣殿,于是建立了会堂,以便在安息日敬拜神,平时则作为教导男孩的学校。但在圣殿重建后,这些会堂仍被保留。任何市镇,只要有十个犹太人家庭,就可以建立一所会堂,由一位领袖及一名助手负责管理。会堂的领袖经常邀请到访的律法教师到会堂里读圣经和教导律法。

4:16 耶稣“照平常的规矩”到会堂去。虽然他是神的儿子,完美无瑕,而地方会堂肯定有许多缺点,他却每星期都在那儿敬拜。他的榜样,使我们没有任何藉口不参与教会活动。让稳定的敬拜成为我们生活的一部分吧。

4:17-21 耶稣引用以赛亚书61章1至2节。经文中,以赛亚描绘以色列人从巴比伦被掳中得释放,就如禧年一样:所有的债项一笔勾销,所有的奴隶恢复自由,所有财物归回物主(参利25章)。但从巴比伦被掳中释放出来后,百姓所期望的并未完全满足,他们仍然是战败的、被压迫的一群。所以,以赛亚所指的一定是未来弥赛亚的日子。耶稣坦然宣布:“今天这经应验在你们耳中了。”就是在宣告他自己已带来了这好消息并把它传开,但这话却未被人们所理解。

4:22 认识基督就是认识真理,现今的世代需要认识真理。今天的人身处混乱、迷失的境况中,我们希望世人转向神,就必须让他们看到在我们里面的真理。你的生命是否充满耶稣的爱,以至别人能够从你的言谈举止中认识到这爱?

4:24 即使是耶稣,在家乡也不被人接纳为先知。很多人也有类似的态度,认为提著公事包,从远道而来的才是专家。所以,倘若熟识你的人,对你的信仰和基督徒生活不表认同或不接受,你不要感到奇怪。

4:28 耶稣这些话使拿撒勒人愤怒,因为他说有时神选择了外邦人,而遗弃了犹太人。耶稣指出他们就跟以利亚和以利沙时代北国以色列人一样,不相信神;那是一个罪恶嚣张的世代。

4:31 耶稣由拿撒勒迁到迦百农去(参太4:13)。迦百农是一个繁盛富庶的地方,但也是一个腐败不堪的城市。由于这里是罗马军队的总部,耶稣的话可以很快传遍整个罗马帝国。

4:31 耶稣为甚么能到会堂里教训人?因为当时的会堂领袖十分欢迎巡回传教士在安息日到他们的会堂,向聚集的百姓讲道。使徒保罗也因这个习俗得以向犹太人传福音(参徒13:5;14:1)。

4:33 在耶稣讲道的那个会堂里,有个被鬼附身的人,走到敬拜的地方,指骂耶稣。假如我们以为在教会里,便可以得到庇护,避开邪恶,那实在太天真了。撒但喜欢随时随地来搅扰我们,然而,耶稣的权柄远胜撒但,只要耶稣在那里,污鬼就不能久留。

4:34-36 人们都感到很惊讶,耶稣竟然能够赶鬼,赶走那些由撒但所控制、专门折磨人、引诱人犯罪的邪灵。鬼是堕落的天使,加入撒但背叛神的行列,它们可以使人变哑、变聋、变盲或变疯变傻。耶稣在世上时,曾遇到很多鬼,他经常向它们施展他的权威。污鬼不但离开了这个人,路加记载他甚至没有受伤。

4:36 邪恶充斥著我们的世界,无怪乎人们常常感到害怕。然而,耶稣的能力远胜过撒但。他已胜过一切邪恶,包括撒但,所以要征服对邪恶的恐惧,第一步是要认识耶稣的权柄和能力。

4:39 耶稣完全治愈了西门(即彼得)的岳母,不但退了热,更使她能恢复体力,可以立即起来服事其他有需要的人。她服事人的态度是何等美善啊!神也常常赐我们健康的身体,好使我们能服事别人。

4:40 这日是安息日,从星期五日落至星期六日落,是他们歇息的日子,按律法规定不可以远行,所以村民等到日落,安息日完结后,才到耶稣那里去,耶稣便医治好每一个患病的人。

4:41 耶稣为甚么不让那些鬼暴露他的身分?因为:(1)他命令鬼闭嘴,显明他有制伏它们的权柄;(2)他要他的听众因为他的话相信他是弥赛亚,而不是因为鬼的话;(3)他要按著神所定的时间来揭示自己的身分,绝不受撒但控制。鬼称耶稣为“神的儿子”、“神的圣者”(参4:34),因为它们知道他是基督;但耶稣要显示的,是他在成为王以前,要成为受苦的仆人。过早显明为王的身分,群众对他来到要做的事就会产生错觉。

一天二十四小时,除掉睡觉和工作,还有私事一大堆,多有一天都不够,祷告嘛,等有空我才 ……
4:42 耶稣清早起来,只为争取独处的时间。连耶稣也需要独处来祈祷和恢复精力,我们就更需要这样做了。不要为了参与林林总总的活动,使生活变得匆匆忙忙,挤掉单独与神相交的时间。无论你有多少事情要做,一定要有时间祈祷。

4:43 神国的来临就是福音!对犹太人而言,这是好消息,因为自从他们被掳至巴比伦之后,便一直等待所应许的弥赛亚到来。对我们而言,这也是好消息,因为在神国里,我们可从罪和自私的奴役中释放出来。神的国就在此时此地,因为圣灵活在信徒心里;然而,神的国也在将来,因为耶稣会回来,统治一个完美的、再没有罪恶的国度。
