37:1 （大卫的诗）不要为作恶的，心怀不平，也不要向那行不义的，生出嫉妒。
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
37:2 因为他们如草快被割下，又如青菜快要枯乾。
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
37:3 你当倚靠耶和华而行善。住在地上，以他的信实为粮。
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
37:4 又要以耶和华为乐。他就将你心里所求的赐给你。
Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
37:5 当将你的事交托耶和华，并倚靠他，他就必成全。
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
37:6 他要使你的公义，如光发出，使你的公平，明如正午。
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
37:7 你当默然倚靠耶和华，耐性等候他。不要因那道路通达的，和那恶谋成就的，心怀不平。
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
37:8 当止住怒气，离弃忿怒。不要心怀不平，以致作恶。
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
37:9 因为作恶的，必被剪除。惟有等候耶和华的，必承受地土。
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
37:10 还有片时，恶人要归于无有。你就细察他的住处，也要归于无有。
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
37:11 但谦卑人必承受地土，以丰盛的平安为乐。
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
37:12 恶人设谋害义人，又向他咬牙。
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
37:13 主要笑他，因见他受罚的日子将要来到。
The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
37:14 恶人已经弓上弦，刀出鞘，要打倒困苦穷乏的人，要杀害行动正直的人。
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
37:15 他们的刀，必刺入自己的心，他们的弓，必被折断。
Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
37:16 一个义人所有的虽少，强过许多恶人的富馀。
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
37:17 因为恶人的膀臂，必被折断。但耶和华是扶持义人。
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
37:18 耶和华知道完全人的日子。他们的产业，要存到永远。
The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
37:19 他们在急难的时候，不至羞愧，在饥荒的日子，必得饱足。
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
37:20 恶人却要灭亡。耶和华的仇敌，要像羊羔的脂油。（或作像草地的华美）他们要消灭，要如烟消灭。
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
37:21 恶人借货而不偿还。义人却恩待人，并且施舍。
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
37:22 蒙耶和华赐福的，必承受地土。被他咒诅的，必被剪除。
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
37:23 义人的脚步，被耶和华立定。他的道路，耶和华也喜爱。
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
37:24 他虽失脚，也不至全身仆倒。因为耶和华用手搀扶他。（或作搀扶他的手）
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
37:25 我从前年幼，现在年老，却未见过义人被弃。也未见过他的后裔讨饭。
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
37:26 他终日恩待人，借给人。他的后裔也蒙福。
He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
37:27 你当离恶行善，就可永远安居。
Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
37:28 因为耶和华喜爱公平，不撇弃他的圣民。他们永蒙保佑。但恶人的后裔，必被剪除。
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:29 义人必承受地土，永居其上。
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
37:30 义人的口谈论智慧，他的舌头讲说公平。
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
37:31 神的律法在他心里。他的脚总不滑跌。
The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
37:32 恶人窥探义人，想要杀他。
The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
37:33 耶和华必不撇他在恶人手中，当审判的时候，也不定他的罪。
The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
37:34 你当等候耶和华，遵守他的道，他就抬举你，使你承受地土。恶人被剪除的时候，你必看见。
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
37:35 我见过恶人大有势力，好像一根青翠树在本土生发。
I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
37:36 有人从那里经过，不料，他没有了。我也寻梢他，却寻不着。
Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37:37 你要细察那完全人，观看那正直人。因为和平人有好结局。
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
37:38 至于犯法的人，必一同灭绝。恶人终必剪除。
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:39 但义人得救，是由于耶和华。他在患难时作他们的营寨。
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
37:40 耶和华帮助他们，解救他们。他解救他们脱离恶人，把他们救出来，因为他们投靠他。
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
诗篇37参考
诗人如此说，但行恶行不义的人总是大行其道嘛……我应如何看待他们？
37:1 我们不应羡慕恶人。他们有些人虽然出奇地有名或有钱，但不管他们拥有多少，他们终将像草一样枯萎和死去。跟随神的人的生活与恶人的生活不同，他们在天上有更大的财富。如果幸运的话，不信者的财富可能会终身伴随他，但也只能持续这一生而已。
以耶和华我神为乐！但──如何去做呢？
37:4-5 大卫号召我们以主为乐，并将我们所拥有的和所做的（我们的“道路”）交托给主。但我们如何去做呢？以某人为乐，意味著跟他在一起时所经历的极大乐趣和欢乐。这样的事情只有跟很熟的人在一起时才会有。这样的话，要“以主为乐”我们就必须更好地认识主。了解了神对我们的慈爱，我们就会感到欢欣。把自己交托给神意味著把我们生活的一切，包括家庭、工作和财产交给神来掌管和引导。将自己交付给主意味著要相信，主（37:5）比我们更能照顾我们自己。我们应该愿意耐心等待（37:7）主给我们带来的最大利益。
在不平时也要等候神？但我心实在著急不已……
37:8-9 生气和焦虑（不平）是两种非常有害的感情。这显露出我们不太相信神爱我们，和他在掌权。我们不该著急，应相信神，将自己交托给主，让主保护我们。当你困难重重的时候，就会变得焦虑和易生气。但如果你盯住神和神的良善，你就会找到平安。看看你注意的焦点在哪儿呢？
谦卑，好像意味著样样事都要退让，也会失掉好处；其实……
37:11 谦卑看起来很难成为一件对付敌人的像样儿武器。神的争战是以安静的信心，在神面前谦卑，对神的拯救充满希望来进行的。耶稣也应许了对那些谦卑人的奖励（参太5:5）。
恶人义人的分别，你不会不知吧；你是……
37:21 你可以根据人用钱的方式，说出这个人许多特点来。恶人以假装借贷来偷盗，义人则慷慨资助有需要的人。恶人只顾自己，义人却顾及和关注别人的利益。
每一步都行在神的旨意里？可以吗？可以吧，可以的！
37:23-24 神所喜悦的人是跟随他的人，是相信神和努力遵行神的旨意的人。这样的人每迈一步神都看顾和保守。你若要神来引导你的路，那就在你迈步之前寻求神的旨意。
义人的后裔不会被弃，也不会挨饿；大卫何以说得如此坚定？谁会供应他们？是我吗？是你吗？
37:25 今天仍有儿童像大卫的时代一样在挨饿。大卫的这些话对此有何意义？大卫看的是神在他一生中的供应。虽有不幸的例外，但神还是供应自己的百姓。义人的子女不会挨饿，其他的信徒会帮助他们渡过难关。在大卫的时代，以色列顺服神的律法，贫穷人得到了公正和怜悯的对待。只要以色列顺服神，每个人就丰衣足食。当以色列忘记神的时候，富人就只顾自己，贫穷人便要受苦（参摩2:6-7）。今天我们看见一位基督徒弟兄或姊妹受苦的时候，可以有三种回应方式：（1）我们可以像约伯的朋友那样，说他是自找麻烦；（2）我们也可以说这乃是帮助他提高信心和耐心的试炼；（3）我们可以在他的需要上帮助他。大卫准许的是最后一个选择。纵然今天的许多政府都有自己的扶贫计划，但这并不影响我们力所能及地帮助别人。
碰见难题，就想解决；至于等待神，这……
37:34 你若想马上有变化，就很难等候神的行动。但神应许我们说，如果我们顺从神的时间表，他就奖励我们。彼得说：“所以你们要自卑，服在神大能的手下，到了时候，他必叫你们升高”（彼前5:6）。要耐心持久地做神交给你的工作，让神来选择改变你的景况的最佳时机。
