11:1 拿玛人琐法回答说，
Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
11:2 这许多的言语岂不该回答吗。多嘴多舌的人岂可称为义吗。
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
11:3 你夸大的话，岂能使人不作声吗ⅶ你戏笑的时候，岂没有人叫你害羞吗。
Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
11:4 你说，我的道理纯全，我在你眼前洁净。
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
11:5 惟愿神说话，愿他开口攻击你。
But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
11:6 并将智慧的奥秘指示你，他有诸般的智识。所以当知道神追讨你，比你罪孽该得的还少。
And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
11:7 你考察，就能测透神吗。你岂能尽情测透全能者吗。
Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
11:8 他的智慧高于天，你还能做什么。深于阴间，你还能知道什么。
It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
11:9 其量比地长，比海宽。
The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
11:10 他若经过，将人拘禁，招人受审，谁能阻挡他呢。
If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
11:11 他本知道虚妄的人。人的罪孽，他虽不留意，还是无所不见。
For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
11:12 空虚的人却毫无知识。人生在世好像野驴的驹子。
For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass’s colt.
11:13 你若将心安正，又向主举手。
If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
11:14 你手里若有罪孽，就当远远地除掉，也不容非义住在你帐棚之中。
If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
11:15 那时，你必仰起脸来毫无斑点。你也必坚固，无所惧怕。
For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
11:16 你必忘记你的苦楚，就是想起也如流过去的水一样。
Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:
11:17 你在世的日子要比正午更明，虽有黑暗仍像早晨。
And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
11:18 你因有指望就必稳固，也必四围巡查，坦然安息。
And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
11:19 你躺卧，无人惊吓，且有许多人向你求恩。
Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
11:20 但恶人的眼目必要失明。他们无路可逃。他们的指望就是气绝。
But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.

琐法的立埸与前两位有分别吗？态度上呢？
11章 琐法是约伯的第三位朋友，也是最不客气的。他气愤填膺地猛烈抨击约伯，并认为约伯该受更多惩罚。琐法采取了与以利法（参4-5章）和比勒达（参8章）相同的立场，认为约伯是因犯罪而受苦，但他的话是最傲慢的。琐法是一个对所有问题都有特定答案的人，但他对约伯的独特情况却毫无感觉。有关琐法的详情，请参28章的附表。
