5:1 以色列众支派来到希伯仑见大卫,说,我们原是你的骨肉。

Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

5:2 从前扫罗作我们王的时候,率领以色列人出入的是你。耶和华也曾应许你说,你必牧养我的民以色列,作以色列的君。

Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.

5:3 于是以色列的长老都来到希伯仑见大卫王,大卫在希伯仑耶和华面前与他们立约,他们就膏大卫作以色列的王。

So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.

5:4 大卫登基的时候年三十岁,在位四十年。

David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

5:5 在希伯仑作犹大王七年零六个月,在耶路撒冷作以色列和犹大王三十三年。

In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.

5:6 大卫和跟随他的人到了耶路撒冷,要攻打住那地方的耶布斯人。耶布斯人对大卫说,你若不赶出瞎子,瘸子,必不能进这地方。心里想大卫决不能进去。

And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.

5:7 然而大卫攻取锡安的保障,就是大卫的城。

Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.

5:8 当日,大卫说,谁攻打耶布斯人,当上水沟攻打我心里所恨恶的瘸子,瞎子。从此有俗语说,在那里有瞎子,瘸子,他不能进屋去。

And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David’s soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.

5:9 大卫住在保障里,给保障起名叫大卫城。大卫又从米罗以里,周围筑墙。

So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.

5:10 大卫日见强盛,因为耶和华万军之神与他同在。

And David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him.

5:11 推罗王希兰将香柏木运到大卫那里,又差遣使者和木匠,石匠给大卫建造宫殿。

And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house.

5:12 大卫就知道耶和华坚立他作以色列王,又为自己的民以色列使他的国兴旺。

And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake.

5:13 大卫离开希伯仑之后,在耶路撒冷又立后妃,又生儿女。

And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.

5:14 在耶路撒冷所生的儿子是沙母亚,朔吧,拿单,所罗门,

And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammuah, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon,

5:15 益辖,以利书亚,尼斐,雅非亚,

Ibhar also, and Elishua, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

5:16 以利沙玛,以利雅大,以利法列。

And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphalet.

5:17 非利士人听见人膏大卫作以色列王,非利士众人就上来寻索大卫。大卫听见,就下到保障。

But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.

5:18 非利士人来了,布散在利乏音谷。

The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

5:19 大卫求问耶和华说,我可以上去攻打非利士人吗。你将他们交在我手里吗。耶和华说,你可以上去,我必将非利士人交在你手里。

And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

5:20 大卫来到巴力毗拉心,在那里击杀非利士人,说,耶和华在我面前冲破敌人,如同水冲去一般。因此称那地方为巴力毗拉心。

And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The LORD hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baalperazim.

5:21 非利士人将偶像撇在那里,大卫和跟随他的人拿去了。

And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.

5:22 非利士人又上来,布散在利乏音谷。

And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

5:23 大卫求问耶和华。耶和华说,不要一直地上去,要转到他们后头,从桑林对面攻打他们。

And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

5:24 你听见桑树梢上有脚步的声音,就要急速前去,因为那时耶和华已经在你前头去攻打非利士人的军队。

And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.

5:25 大卫就遵着耶和华所吩咐的去行,攻打非利士人,从迦巴直到基色。

And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.

撒母耳记下5参考

人生变幻,都不能改变神应许的实现,我有此信心吗?
5:3-5 这是大卫第三次受膏作王。先是撒母耳在暗地里膏他(参撒上16:13),以后受膏作犹大支派的王(2:4),最后受膏作全以色列之王。他曾亡命天涯,人生一片灰暗,但是神应许要立他作全以色列的王,现在都应验了。虽然这国度在七十五年后再度分裂,统治南国犹大的大卫王朝,仍延续了四百多年。

恒忍与坚信,不单是个人的美德,也是人承受应许的过程中必经的磨炼……
5:4-5 虽然神在多年前已应许要将以色列国赐给大卫(参撒上16:13),但是他一直等到三十七岁,才作全以色列的王,其间他必须耐心等候神应许的成全。如果你想事情立竿见影,就要想想大卫的忍耐。恒心忍耐的日子怎样磨练大卫成才,日后承担重任,同样也能助你培育更美好的品格。

大卫为甚么选择攻取耶路撒冷并立为首都之城?
5:6 耶路撒冷的坚固城,设立在高高的山脊上,靠近合并后的以色列国中央。那里是中立的地界,因为地处便雅悯与犹大两个支派的边界上,仍被迦南的一个部族──耶布斯人占领,他们从来没有被赶出去过(士1:21)。大卫攻占那地以后,因为战略上的优势,就以耶路撒冷作首都。

人往往以为金银房屋名誉地位都是牢不可破的保障,我的保障又是在甚么地方?
5:6-7 耶布斯人有强大的防卫优势,他们以这牢不可破的耶路撒冷、又称为锡安的城墙夸口,不过他们很快就明白,高墙并不能保护他们。大卫从水沟突袭进城,将城夺下。
  我们只有靠神,才有真正的平安稳妥,其他一切全属虚假的安全。尽管你有不少的存款,有舒适的家庭,或有安定的事业,也没有人能预测明天会发生甚么事。我们与神的关系才是惟一的保障,是没有人能夺去的。

雄心与野心,往往只是一线之隔,问题是最终我将荣耀归给谁?
5:12 “大卫就知道耶和华坚立他……”虽然异教国家以征战、权势、军队与财富而自豪,但是大卫知道他的一切完全是由神所赐,要成大事,个人以至全族都要与神有亲密的关系。大卫要这样行,就必须约束自己的野心。他虽然有大名声、卓然有成,又众望所归,他仍然让神居首位,在生活中按照神旨意服事百姓。你想从神还是想从人得帮助,成就大业呢?在追求成功的路上,要切记让神管理你的雄心大志。

甚么是“保障”?是一处藏身之所吗?
5:17 这里所说的“保障”,就是在犹大旷野的山寨,即大卫逃避扫罗的时候,藏匿自卫的地方(参23:14;代上12:8)。

非利士人与以色列人的关系恩怨难解,但为甚么非利士人选择在此时攻击大卫?
5:17 从参孙时代开始非利士人就压迫以色列人(参士13-16章),现在仍然是他们最强劲的敌人,不过大卫一度被他们当作朋友兼同盟(参撒上27:29)。大卫作南部犹大王时,显然非利士人并不与他计较,因为他们占据的是以色列北部的土地。但是一旦知道大卫有意统一全国,他们就想兴风作浪来阻止他。

祈祷不是对著空气说话,而是要与神沟通,我的祷告能活泼的展现与神的关系吗?
5:19 大卫怎能从神得到这样清晰的信息?可能藉著祷告,圣灵告诉他要采取行动;也可能他藉著先知求问神。最有可能的是请求大祭司用乌陵和土明求问神,就是神吩咐以色列人在决疑的时候所用的方法(请参利8:8与撒上10:20的注释)。

在面对重重挑战之下,我可能会陷于迷失之中,看不到神的心意……
5:19-25 大卫每战都是按照神的指示。(1)他求问神应否出战,(2)仔细遵循神的指示,(3)将荣耀归于神。但是我们争战时却易忽略这些步骤,常常造成错误,我们会(1)不求问神的旨意,任意而行;(2)自作主张,不参照圣经的劝导,不听从其他智者的建议;(3)自取荣耀,或将荣耀归于别的人,没有表明一切是从神得到帮助。这些做法都是得罪神的。

遂登帝位即下令制伏仇敌──大卫此举是为了──
5:25 大卫登基以后,第一道命令就是要制伏仇敌──这是以色列人刚进入迦南时未做到的。(参士2:1-4)他知道必须如此,为了(1)保卫疆土,(2)统一国家,(3)预备建造圣殿(在神引领之下,能使全国信仰一致,有助于刹住拜偶像之风)。
