28:1 祸哉,以法莲的酒徒,住在肥美谷的山上,他们心里高傲,以所夸的为冠冕,犹如将残之花。

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

28:2 看哪,主有一大能大力者,像一阵冰雹,像毁灭的暴风,像涨溢的大水,他必用手将冠冕摔落于地。

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

28:3 以法莲高傲的酒徒,他的冠冕,必被踏在脚下。

The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

28:4 那荣美将残之花,就是在肥美谷山上的,必像夏令以前初熟的无花果。看见这果的就注意,一到手中就吞吃了。

And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

28:5 到那日,万军之耶和华必作他馀剩之民的荣冠华冕。

In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

28:6 也作了在位上行审判者公平之灵,并城门口打退仇敌者的力量。

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

28:7 就是这地的人,因酒摇摇晃晃,因浓酒东倒西歪。祭司和先知因浓酒摇摇晃晃,被酒所困,因浓酒东倒西歪。他们错解默示,谬行审判。

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

28:8 因为各席上满了呕吐的污秽,无一处乾净。

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

28:9 讥诮先知的说,他要将知识指教谁呢,要使谁明白传言呢。是那刚断奶离怀的吗。

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

28:10 他竟命上加命,令上加令,律上加律,例上加例,这里一点,那里一点。

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

28:11 先知说,不然,主要藉异邦人的嘴唇,和外邦人的舌头,对这百姓说话。

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

28:12 他曾对他们说,你们要使疲乏人得安息。这样才得安息,才得舒畅。他们却不肯听。

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

28:13 所以耶和华向他们说的话,是命上加命,令上加令,律上加律,例上加例,这里一点,那里一点,以致他们前行仰面跌倒,而且跌碎,并陷入网罗,被缠住。

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

28:14 所以你们这些亵慢的人,就是辖管住在耶路撒冷这百姓的,要听耶和华的话。

Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

28:15 你们曾说,我们与死亡立约,与阴间结盟。敌军(原文作鞭子)如水涨漫经过的时候,必不临到我们。因我们以谎言为避所,在虚假以下藏身。

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

28:16 所以主耶和华如此说,看哪,我在锡安放一块石头,作为根基,是试验过的石头,是稳固根基,宝贵的房角石,信靠的人必不着急。

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

28:17 我必以公平为准绳,以公义为线铊。冰雹必冲去谎言的避所,大水必漫过藏身之处。

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

28:18 你们与死亡所立的约,必然废掉,与阴间所结的盟,必立不住。敌军(原文作鞭子)如水涨漫经过的时候,你们必被他践踏。

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

28:19 每逢经过必将你们掳去。因为每早晨他必经过,白昼黑夜都必如此。明白传言的,必受惊恐。

From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

28:20 原来床榻短,使人不能舒身。被窝窄,使人不能遮体。

For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

28:21 耶和华必兴起,像在毗拉心山,他必发怒,像在基遍谷,好作成他的工,就是非常的工,成就他的事,就是奇异的事。

For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

28:22 现在你们不可亵慢,恐怕捆你们的绑索更结实了。因为我从主万军之耶和华那里听见已经决定,在全地上施行灭绝的事。

Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

28:23 你们当侧耳听我的声音,留心听我的言语。

Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

28:24 那耕地为要撒种的,岂是常常耕地呢,岂是常常开垦耙地呢。

Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

28:25 他拉平了地面,岂不就撒种小茴香,播种大茴香,按行列种小麦,在定处种大麦,在田边种粗麦呢。

When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

28:26 因为他的神教导他务农相宜,并且指教他。

For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

28:27 原来打小茴香,不用尖利的器具,轧大茴香,也不用碌碡。(原文作车轮下同)但用杖打小茴香,用棍打大茴香。

For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

28:28 作饼的粮食是用磨磨碎,因他不必常打。虽用碌碡和马打散,却不磨他。

Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

28:29 这也是出于万军之耶和华。他的谋略奇妙,他的智慧广大。

This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.


28:1 以法莲代表的是北国以色列。它的许多国王都昏庸邪恶。所罗门之后以色列王国分裂,耶路撒冷在南国。北国的领袖希望同南国的同胞完全分离,所以竖起偶像来阻止人们去耶路撒冷的圣殿敬拜神(参王上第12章),北国的百姓于是去拜偶像。以赛亚对以色列讲这样的信息是为了警告以色列和犹大,并鼓励犹大在受到北国式的惩罚之前就要悔改。几年后,北国以色列就受到惩罚。

28:9-14 这些章节刻画了人们对以赛亚的信息的反应。他们实际上在说:“他对我们说话就像学校老师对小孩子讲话似的,我们不需要‘听课’,我们自己会作决定。”以赛亚对这种态度发出预言说,亚述将要以他们更不喜欢的方式来“教育”他们。

“原指望他能提供保护,岂知 ……”──埋怨他人不如埋怨自己……
28:15 犹大虽害怕“如水涨漫”的亚述人。但犹大人不去信靠神,反而向其他势力求助,神警告他们,这是在与死亡立约,意指坟墓或死人。这一段可能是指希西家与埃及法老特哈加(同时亦是古实王)联合对抗亚述的联盟(参王下19:9;赛37:9)。神将取消这一协定,其结果是犹大在遭到亚述攻击时,埃及没有向犹大提供任何帮助。我们值得不值得为了得到暂时的保护而出卖信仰呢?我们如果想得到持久的保护,就要转向那惟一能够救我们脱离死亡的神,向他求助。

28:16 如果你要建造房屋,一定需要一个牢固的基础。以赛亚说基石或房角石将被放置在锡安城,这块房角石就是指弥赛亚,它是我们建立生命的基础。你的生命是建立在自己的成功或梦想的脆弱基础上呢,还是建立在一个稳固的基础上呢(参诗篇118:22;彼前2:8)?

28:21 神在基遍谷战役中站在约书亚的一边(参书10:1-14),在□拉心山战争中站在大卫的一边(参撒下5:20)。但在同一地点,神要跟自己的子民以色列争战。

28:23-29 农夫使用的是特殊的工具来栽种和收获茴香,他考虑到了茴香的娇嫩,这样它们就不易受损。同样,神也知道我们每个人的情况和软弱,他敏锐地同我们每一个人打交道。我们在跟其他人打交道时也应遵循神的样式,要区别对待不同的人。对你周围的人要细心,某些人你可能要特殊对待。
